The Saudi Accreditation Center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, held a workshop in Riyadh, in the presence of the Executive Director of the Center, Dr. Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Qaid. Al-Qaed delivered a speech introducing the center and its services, reviewing the importance and advantages of accreditation and its role in the quality infrastructure. During the workshop, accreditation services were introduced in accordance with international standards ISO (ISO), in the areas of accreditation of testing, calibration and measurement laboratories, accreditation of inspection bodies and accreditation of certification bodies. It is worth noting that the Saudi accreditation holds introductory meetings and workshops with various governmental and private agencies to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation, in order to strengthen the quality infrastructure and support the Kingdom's economy and prosperity.
