SAAC Provides Halal Certification Bodies Accreditation Service According To OIC/SMIIC 2

The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) has announced the launch of its accreditation service for Halal certification bodies, in accordance with the requirements of the standard (OIC/SMIIC 2:2019). This initiative aims to enhance the competence and integrity of entities in this field while increasing the reliability of Halal products and services. The new service is part of SAAC’s ongoing efforts to develop the Halal ecosystem by standardizing practices according to international benchmarks, thereby boosting the confidence of both beneficiaries and regulatory bodies.
