This service is provided by the Saudi Accreditation Center with the aim of attracting qualified technical assessors and experts to collaborate with the Center as assessors and experts on a part-time basis. They participate in assessment visits in accordance with international standards. The service aims to build a pool of qualified assessors and experts, support the assessment processes of conformity assessment bodies, and enhance the quality and efficiency of accreditation activities.

SAAC offers a range of training programs aimed at developing technical capabilities in the fields of quality and accreditation. These programs include in-person training, remote training, and self-paced learning, supporting performance efficiency and enhancing the readiness of conformity assessment bodies and professionals working in this field.

This service aims to verify the technical competence of halal certification bodies in accordance with the applicable standard, thereby enhancing clients’ confidence in the quality of their services and products.
This certification authorizes products and confirms their compliance with Islamic Sharia requirements, ensuring that the product is from a permissible source or slaughtered according to Islamic methods.

• Accreditation of halal certification bodies in accordance with the Gulf Standard (GSO 2055-2)

• Accreditation of halal certification bodies in accordance with the (OIC/SMIIC 2) standard of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC).
