Apply For This Service

This service aims to evaluate the technical and managerial competence of laboratories to perform specific standards of testing, inspection, measurement, and calibration within defined fields. It enhances the quality of results and increases confidence in the services provided by these laboratories, as well as in their technical and management procedures.

  1. Select “Apply for Service.”
  2. Log in using your username and password.
  3. Select “New Application” to initiate the process for obtaining new accreditation.
  4. Complete the grant services application form and attach the required documents.
  5. Payment of Applicable Fees.
  6. Submit the accreditation application to the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC).
  7. Receive an email confirming receipt of the application.
  8. The application is received and processed by SAAC, with the conformity assessment body being notified of any updates related to the application.

  1. Commercial Registration or proof of the laboratory’s legal entity.

  2. Laboratory organizational structure.

  3. List of laboratory personnel within the scope of accreditation.

  4. List of equipment used by the laboratory within the scope of accreditation.

  5. Definition of the scope of accreditation (list of tests, examinations, or measurements).

  6. List of reference materials used within the scope of accreditation (if applicable).

  7. Results of participation in proficiency testing or interlaboratory comparisons.

  8. A quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standard, such as ISO/IEC 17025, including internal audit reports and management review.

  9. Submission of an accreditation application through the Saudi Accreditation Center’s electronic system: https://accreditation.saac.gov.sa/login

  • Organizational structure of the entity.

  • Internal audit report of the entity.

  • Technical documentation of the entity.

  • Quality manual of the entity.

  • Quality policy of the entity.

  • Management system documentation of the entity.
